Elga was one of the first manufacturers in the welding industry to have its quality management system approved to ISO 9001.
Elga started in Gothenburg , Sweden 1938 as a family company. Our company has over the years grown internationally into one of Europe´s leading manufacturers of welding electrodes, wires and gas equipment.
Today we operate nine successful sales companies throughout Europe and our products are sold world-wide through a network of international distributors.
Since February 2000 Elga is part of the ITW Welding Products Group. Elga´s role is to form a base for a continued expansion in the field of welding consumables for ITW Welding Products Group on the European market.
